Die Internationale FriedensFabrik Wanfried schlägt angesichts der realen Kriegsbedrohung eine internationale Aktion vor: Hier mitten in Europa und Deutschland, zur und auf der Grenze. Sie hatte bis 1989 die Menschheit global und für alle gefährlich in den Machtbereich von NATO und Warschauer Pakt gespalten. Diese Spaltung hatte zu mehreren Fast-Atom-Kriegen geführt.
Unser Vorschlag, sich auf der Grenze in dem bis 89 geteilten Deutschland in Großburschla von Ost- und West zu treffen, findet jetzt auch international Unterstützung: Interesse gibt es bei Friedensaktiven in der Ukraine, in Schweden, den USA und Großbritannien. Aus Treffurt kommt mit Egon Bahr einer der Architekten von Willy Brandts Ostpolitik. In Wanfried wurde 1945 im Wanfrieder Abkommen ein Konflikt völkerrechtlich im Sinne der gerade beschlossenen UNO-Charta zwischen den USA und der Sowjetunion durch einen Gebietstausch friedlich gelöst.
Schaffen wir es, dass viele Menschen aus vielen Ländern am Ostersonntag hier im hessischen Wanfried, zu dem der Bahnhof Großburschla gehört, und im Ort Großburschla, der zum thüringischen Treffurt gehört, sich wie 1945 über die Machtblöcke hinweg zusammenkommen, ein Zeichen setzten für ihren politischen Willen zum Frieden und sich für nachhaltige Arbeit für den Aufbau eines einigen friedlichen Europas in einer friedlichen Welt vernetzen.
Die nächsten Tage werden zeigen, ob diese Aktion umsetzbar ist: Am Freitag, 18. Februar, um 19 Uhr, gibt es eine Beratung in Deutsch. Der Sprecher der ukrainischen pazifistischen Bewegung, Dr. Yurii Sheliazhenko, wird dabei eingangs über die aktuelle Situation in seinem Land berichten. Er wird das auch am Sonntag, 20. Februar, um 18 Uhr bei einer Beratung mit Aktiven aus vielen Ländern tun; diese Besprechung wird in Englisch sein.

What to do for peace? Ukrainian peace activist reports: discusses international border action
The International PeaceFactory Wanfried proposes an international action in view of the real threat of war: Here in the middle of Europe and Germany, to and on the border. Until 1989, it had divided humanity globally and dangerously for all into the sphere of power of NATO and the Warsaw Pact. This division had led to several near-nuclear wars.
Our proposal to meet on the border in Großburschla of East and West Germany, which was divided until 89, is now receiving international support: there is interest from peace activists in Ukraine, Sweden, the USA and Great Britain. Egon Bahr, one of the architects of Willy Brandt's Ostpolitik, comes from Treffurt. In 1945, a conflict between the USA and the Soviet Union was peacefully resolved under international law in the Wanfried Agreement, in accordance with the UN Charter that had just been adopted.

The spokesperson of the Ukrainian pacifist movement, Dr. Yurii Sheliazhenko, will begin by reporting on the current situation in his country. He will do the same on Sunday, 20 February, at 6 pm at a consultation with activists from many countries; this meeting will be in English.
