The International Peace Factory Wanfried (IFFW) is preparing an international peace action for Easter Sunday. In Großburschla, the global division between NATO and the Warsaw Pact, East and West went right through the town. The IFFW wants to bring people from East and West together there, if possible also from the USA and Russia. Peace activists from the USA, Ukraine, Sweden and Great Britain have signalled their interest in supporting the action. On Friday, there will be a first consultation on ZOOM at 7 pm in German. On Sunday, there will be a ZOOM meeting at 6 pm in English. Both times the spokesperson of the Ukrainian pacifist movement will report on the current situation.
